This notice explains the browser storage used by the Business Overhead Identification Tool from Home Business Tax Savings, Inc. (\u201cHBTS\u201d).
Essential storage
The Tool stores a secure sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in and your saved worksheets load correctly. Without it, account features cannot work.
Referral and checkout storage
If you arrive through an affiliate referral link, the referral code and date are stored in your browser, and linked to your account when you sign in, so the correct affiliate can be credited within the 60-day referral window. If you start a purchase before creating an account, a short-lived note is stored so checkout can resume after you verify your email.
Payment processor
Checkout is provided by Stripe, which may set its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud.
Analytics and advertising
The Tool does not use third-party advertising cookies. If analytics or marketing tracking is added, this notice will be updated before it is used.
Your choices
