Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Business Overhead Identification Tool (the \u201cTool\u201d), provided by Home Business Tax Savings, Inc. (\u201cHBTS\u201d). By creating an account or using the Tool, you agree to these terms.
1. The product
The Tool is a digital, online educational planning product. You enter information about your business, and the Tool organizes it and performs the planning calculations to show what it costs to keep your business operating, using planning-period allocation.
2. Access period
A purchase provides one (1) year of access to the Tool, beginning on the purchase date. Access purchased through a sponsor code lasts for the period stated with that code. Renewing before access ends adds another year to the current end date.
When access ends, is refunded, or is reversed, your saved worksheets are not deleted, but creating or editing worksheets may be limited until access is renewed.
3. Sponsored access
Some customers receive access through a sponsor code provided by an organization or partner. Sponsored access is subject to these same terms. A sponsor does not see your worksheet values; HBTS may share with the sponsor only whether a code was redeemed.
4. Your account
Keep your login credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you enter. Accounts are for one person and may not be shared or resold.
5. Educational use; no advice
The Tool provides education and planning support only. It does not provide tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, and results depend entirely on the information you enter. See the Educational & Financial Disclaimer.
6. Payments, refunds and chargebacks
Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars and are the amount charged. Purchases are governed by the Refund & Digital Product Policy. If a payment is refunded, disputed, or charged back, access to the Tool ends immediately.
7. Availability and changes
HBTS works to keep the Tool available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features, calculations, and planning defaults may be improved over time. HBTS may update these terms; the effective date above will change when it does.
8. Intellectual property
The Tool, its content, design, and software, and the names and marks Home Business Tax Savings, HBTS, Business Overhead Identification Tool, and MyPriceIsRight™ are owned by HBTS. You may use the reports you generate for your own business. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Tool or its content. © 2026 Home Business Tax Savings, Inc. All rights reserved.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HBTS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for business decisions made using the Tool. HBTS’s total liability for any claim relating to the Tool is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Participation in the HBTS affiliate program is governed separately by the Affiliate Program Terms.
